When you search for Bluetooth devices you can add cell phone Bluetooth loaded, wireless Bluetooth speakers,. First of all you need to windows 8 Bluetooth device i.e. windows 8 with Bluetooth device installed. 

Things required to add a Bluetooth device in windows 8 :

  • A Bluetooth dongle (usually required in desktop computers & mostly installed in laptops).
  • A Bluetooth device (which you want to add).

Adding Bluetooth device in windows 8 :

To add a Bluetooth device in windows 8 you can follow two methods.
  1. Tray icon method
  2. Control panel method

  1. The tray icon method :

  • Make sure windows 8 Bluetooth device is working.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on the device.
  • Make sure the device is discoverable to Bluetooth devices.
  • Right click Bluetooth icon on the system tray.
  • Click add a device
  • Then your system will search for Bluetooth devices.
  • Enter the passcode to pair

  2.  The Control panel method :

  • Go to control panel.
  • Click hardware & sound.
  • Click devices & printers.
  • Click add a device
  • Now your system will search for Bluetooth devices.
  • Select your device.
