Windows 10 does not allows users to change their update settings, updates are downloaded and installed automatically. But we got a solution so that you can turn off or disable automatic updates windows 10.


Turning off automatic updates in windows 10:

  • Press windows button + r.
  • Type gpedit.msc and hit enter.
  • Click computer configuration.
  • Administrative templates.
  • Click windows components.
  • Search for windows update.
  • Right click configure automatic updates and click edit.
  • Check enable.
  • Under configure automatic updating, select option that says "notify for download and install".
And you are good to go.
But you can always download updates from settings.
